Frequently Asked Questions
Why waitlist?
When spots open at our centres, we turn to our waitlisted families first to determine which child is eligible to fill the spot.
How do you determine which child fills the spot?
A variety of factors are taken into consideration when filling spots in our centres, including (but not limited to):
1) Age child will be at time of enrollment - Determines which category of childcare they belong to and what spaces we have available at that time
2) Sibling priority - Families with children already enrolled in our program and who would like to enroll their sibling as well, hold priority for when spaces open.
3) Waitlist Date - if several children are eligible for the same spot, we reference the waitlist date to determine who will be offered the spot first
When do spots generally open?
In August/September of each year. This is when movement between our classes take place and when our graduates move into Kindergarten to make more space for children in our 3-5 year old program.
